First-hand information from the field!
It leads to profound insights.
During a presentation about my business at a cross-industry networking event, someone suggested, “Why don’t you change this part and target this other market?” But proposals made without observing the actual front lines inevitably feel superficial.
I recently conducted interviews at a local business site and realized that the insights gained from first-hand information are far deeper—and that this is precisely where business opportunities lie.
I’ve come to realize once again that the essence of market creation isn’t found in theoretical discussions at a desk, but in gathering first-hand information from the field. Is it possible that no one else is actually going out to visit these places?
