The Challenge of Not Ceding Control to AI!
Maintaining Your Own “Operating System” and Criteria for Judgment
I believe the greatest challenge in the age of AI is ensuring that you do not hand over control to the technology. AI quickly learns to mimic human writing styles and personal quirks; even the slightest ambiguity in your instructions can cause it to overwrite your unique values and principles with “average” patterns. This is not a flaw, but an inherent characteristic of how AI is structured.
Consequently, if you let your guard down, you can easily lose control. For instance, even something as simple as how you use honorifics—if you don’t explicitly specify your preference, the AI will default to generic, conventional usage. The ability to leverage AI for convenience while steadfastly maintaining your own “operating system”—your core framework and criteria for judgment—is, I believe, the most vital skill that humans must not lose in this AI era.
